To all of our Garbage men and women: Remember to be on the lookout for people, including children, to be at the curb, ready to honor you next week. Be sure you turn the truck off and follow your company’s safety guidelines before greeting those ready to say a kind word or give you a token of their appreciation.
For those of you planning to honor your garbage man or woman, remember this. Wait someplace out of harm’s way for them to approach you away from the truck.
