The City of New Braunfels is recognizing Waste and Recycling Workers Week, which is celebrated annually on June 17th.
“The City employs 54 men and women in the Solid Waste and Recycling Division that make significant contributions to the safety, health, and welfare of citizens,” said Solid Waste Manager Michael Mundell. “They protect our environment, help prevent disease, and make life easier by collecting garbage, recycling, and Green Waste material from homes and businesses. Please join us in showing appreciation for the men and women of the waste management industry and saying ‘thank you’ for all the work they do to keep our community clean.”
