CWD received this award in recognition for our X-treme Green and Paint Reuse programs, both of which encourage and enable safe disposal of hazardous waste by the communities we service.
Our X-treme Green Events (XGEs) are recycling extravaganzas at which we assist residents in sorting and disposing of hard-to-get-rid-of and hazardous waste. CWD handles all of the disposal and ensures all waste is discarded of safely and properly.
CWD’s Paint Reuse Program makes free paint available to residents. Produced by blending usable paint collected during XGEs and via CWD’s Door Side Collection, 1-gallon and 5-gallon containers are made available to communities we service.
