From Homewood, Alabama, we recognize John McCain for his outstanding action of rushing to the aid of an elderly woman he saw trip and fall in the middle of the street. McCain, a local sanitation worker stopped pulling trash cans and went over to make sure the woman was okay. He helped her up from the street and patiently walked her home. The mayor, Mayor Scott McBrayer, called McCain a prime example of someone who cares and says he will make sure McCain is recognized publicly for his service. Thank you Mr. McCain for showing that even when you are on route, hard working, there is always time to help those around you in need.
