Mr. Comfort is the husband of Mrs. Donna Bellamy, son of Mr. Alfred Comfort, Sr. and the late Mrs. Anna Marie Comfort, father of Miss Tyra S. Johnson, brother of Mr. George Taylor (Gwendolyn), Ms. Patricia Comfort-Capers and Mr. Gerard Comfort, Sr., brother-in-law of Mrs. Martina Comfort, God son of Ms. Jean D. Collier. Mr. Comfort was 47 years old and he was employed with the City of Charleston via Trojan Labor.

We will not forget you, Tyrone Comfort.
