Celebrate Your Garbage Person!
June 15-June 21
On June 17 the Prince William County Solid Waste Division will celebrate Waste and Recycling Workers Week at the Prince William County Landfill. Residents are encourage to show your support and appreciation for the people doing these dirty, dangerous jobs during the week of June 15.
According to U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, U.S. Department of Labor, 2014, these workers rank 6 out of 10 on the list of fatal job injuries.
