Action Environmental Services and Interstate Waste Services, now a part of the Action Environmental Group providing waste and recycling services and solutions from the city to the suburbs.
Action In The Community
- At school IS151 in the Bronx, we work closely with the Pencil Organization and have planted a community garden, as well as starting an environmental club for the students
- We make an annual donation to the Good Samaritan Hospital
- Support the efforts of the Big Dog Rescue Project
- We are both a sponsor and a donator of our services to the annual Susan G. Koman Walk that raises funds to fight breast cancer
- Each year, we donate our services to the 9/11 Memorial Walk
- Action provides funding donations and sponsorships to a number of high school teams within our service area
- Donate our services and participate in the NYC GoGreen Conference http://www.gogreenconference.net
- Multiple times a year we participate with Encore Community Service in Times Square NY delievering food to home-bound seniors
- We are represented on the board of Octoberwoman, the breast cancer foundation
