National Garbage Man Day By Any Other Name

No matter what you call it, the week long celebration during the week of June 17th is all about the men and women who care for our environment and keep our communities clean and safe every day of the year. We want to recognize and honor everyone who serves their communities through their work in the waste and recycling industry.

With your help and the help of Waste360, The Hauler Magazine, Waste Advantage Magazine, SWANA and many others National Garbage Man Day has been renamed. The new name will be Waste & Recycling Workers Week. Change is Coming…

We value all waste and recycling industry professionals and we want to ensure we represent every single person in the industry. From drivers and haulers to office staff and support personnel, we want to properly recognize all that you do. We think the new name will do just that and we hope you agree.

We hope you will join us as we build something even bigger and better that recognizes the work that is vital to our communities.
