In 2001, Larry Edwards, original owner of AAA Disposal, founded American Disposal Services. Three years later, Paul Coury, original owner of Rainbow Disposal joined him as his partner. Since then, the duo has built the company into a trusted industry leader with over 250,000 customers, 500 employees, and 150 trucks serving residential, commercial, and industrial customers.
Combined, the two have nearly 70 years of experience in the waste and recycling business. Both men remain committed to running their growing company with the ethical values of a small, family owned business.

In the Beginning
AAA Waste Disposal, a Northern Virginia-based waste hauling operation, was founded in 1972 by Larry Edwards. Seven years later, Paul Coury started Rainbow Disposal Services. For years, the two companies remained fierce competitors in the Northern Virginia market.
